LANZ LED GROW LAMP
This lamp is most suitable for office, showroom or home situations with low or no natural light. Plants require wave lengths in the red and blue not delivered by ordinary artifical light sources.
Experience shows ornamental plants (even those happy enough in low light) will flourish and far out perform those under ordinary lighting. Our advice is to run the grow lamps for 8 - 12 hours every day.
As the lamps cast a purplish light it is best to run the units through the night - ideally on a timing device. Ordinary incandescent or flourescent lighting will suffice during the day.
The lamps, unlike conventional grow lamps, don't require starters or ballast, just have a standard screw mount and are best fitted into a recessed ceiling housing. Each lamp, with only a 20W energy requirement is very efficient and combined with an average operational life of 50,000+ hours, a very economical choice.
